School of Choral Studies Recorded Audition Deadline

Recorded Audition Deadline will be January 31, 2020 by 5pm.  All materials MUST be to the NYSSSA Office by 5pm.  

Recorded auditions must be postmarked or emailed by January 31st, 2020. Video recordings are strongly recommended over audio recordings. Recorded auditions may be submitted using the following methods: link (YouTube, Vimeo, etc.) or digital file/attachment sent via email to NYSSSA@nysed.gov; CD, flash drive, or similar mailed to the NYSSSA office. Please title all audition correspondence with the following information: First and Last Name, Voice Part, Selection Composer and Title. The NYSSSA office will confirm receipt of all emailed auditions within one business day.

Students auditioning for the School of Choral Studies, whether recorded or live, must prepare a solo of your choice in addition to the required selection and two scales: one major scale (ascending and descending) in the key of your choice and one melodic minor scale (ascending and descending) in the key of your choice.
